Salzgitter Flachstahl

Salzgitter Flachstahl is the largest steel subsidiary in the Salzgitter Group. In 2024, 5,906 employees produced about 4.7 million tons of steel and generated a turnover of Euro 3.6 billion.

The most important customers for our flat-rolled products are cold rollers, vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers, manufacturers of both standard and large-diameter tubes, steel trading and the building industry. In an integrated iron-and-steel works, we produce hot-rolled strip, hot rolled sheets, cold-rolled sheet and surface-finished products ranging in thickness from 0.4 to 25 mm and up to a maximum width of 2,000 mm. The production program includes drawn, deep-drawn and special deep-drawn steels, structural and fine-grained steels, as well as high-strength steels.
